There is a special energy when you attend a group class. It is motivating to breath, stretch and center with others.  That said, there are vast benefits to one-on-one sessions. These sessions are crafted to meet your individual needs.

Traditionally, yoga was always shared between one teacher and one student. Together, they would work towards the goal of increasing awareness and growth through self-study.

The Benefits of Private Sessions

Unlike group classes, privates are all about you.

First, you’ll discuss your personal goals with one of our skilled instructors. Next, they will asses your fitness level, taking stress, injuries and intent into account. Finally, they will designed a customized class, specifically catered to your unique needs.

May it be on your mat, in a hammock, or simply lying over some bolsters, one-on-ones support you to reach personal goals.

Yoga, antigravity, fitness, and stretching are included in our One-On-One Intro.  Depending on the practitioner, Reiki may be booked as a One-On-One as part of a massage therapy session.

Traditioanlly yoga was taught one-on-one. This allowed for deep exploration of the holistic and therapeutic applications.

Emerge is known for it’s uniqe style of yoga. Still, we recognize that optimal health is all about balance. While some of our yoga sessions offer a solid workout, we know that many people need more than a sweaty stretch to stay in shape.

 

Beyond flexibility, strength, cardio, and endurance are equally as important to maintain peak condition.

Furthermore, during injury recovery, therapeutic exercise can complement acupuncture and massage sessions. One-On-Ones restore function and flexibility, improve strength and decrease pain.

Reiki + Energy Work

Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation. It reduces stress through gentle touch. Practitioners use their hands to connect with energy in your body. This improves flow and balance to support well-being.

When our nervous system is in a state of relaxation, deep healing takes place. Reiki facilitates this process by tapping us into those brainstates.

Reiki can be offered in conjunction with a yin & restorative yoga private or as a full exerpeicne. Complete reiki sessions are offered in a private room on a massage table.

Meditation + Yoga Nidra

It’s a challenge to sit still and quiet the mind. One-On-One guidance can teach you mindfulness tools to promote zen.

Yoga nidra is a meditation practiced lying down in savasana. It induces the hypnagogic state [the brainwaves between waking and sleeping]. From here, our senses focus inward and we dream while we are awake. Finally, the mind deeply relaxes, physical and emotional tension is released, and the body is flooded with hormones that can reduce pain and inflammation.
